Feral Hog and Bison
Our limits include Feral Hog and Bison due to capacity and customer safety.

Fat Boy Yum is thankful to every customer we serve and it shows in the products we produce. Due to our capacity and concern for food-safety, we cannot serve customers with Bison and Feral Hogs.

Bison

Bison require more cutting capacity than is available at this date. This may change in the future as we grow.

Feral Hogs

Feral (wild) Hogs are excellent table fare if handled correctly — but they do carry real health risks during field dressing and processing. Most problems come from pathogens, and parasites that include Brucelosis (biggest concern), Trichinosis (Trichinella spiralis), and Leptospirosis. The concern is not the meat itself when properly cooked.

Processing or Purchasing Farm Raised Livestock

We do process farm-raised pigs outside of the normal hunting season on request and would consider buying your livestock. Contact us if you would like Fat Boy Yum to handle your other and non-game processing needs.
